Bayside Council Donation for Bushfire Relief
Bayside Council has donated $2500 to the Club to be used for Bushfire Relief. Thank you to the Mayor and Council.
We resolved to use it, along with some of our own funds, to buy doona covers for victims of the bushfires.
Our Lions warehouse has doonas but no covers.
Thank you to Lions Jan & Bob, Carole and Helen who got really good pricing and bought over 100 doona covers.
Helen delivered them to the warehouse, and was royally welcomed. What was especially nice was to see some covers immediately taken for families.

Autism Assistance Dogs is a District Project and we are the sponsor club.
Lion Dennis Wattie made a donation from Mordialloc Mentone Lions Club at our Changeover Dinner on June 16. Thank you to the Mordialloc-Mentone Lions.
